Dickinson Law School alumni weekend a blast

Scores of Law School alumni from 1950 through 2010 converged on Carlisle this past weekend to catch up with friends — and especially celebrate reunions for those graduating in years ending in 0 and 5. Matt Watters '02 summed it up this way: "Had a blast at Alumni Weekend. It was great to see so many good friends."

Those who had not yet seen the completed renovation of Trickett Hall and the newly constructed Lewis Katz Hall toured the facilities during the welcome reception which also featured entertainment by Jeff ’08 and Kate Lawrence and a beer tasting. The following morning about 60 alumni attended CLE a la Carte, including presentations by Judge Uhler '69, Martha Zatezalo '74, and Ross Pifer '95,  which provided Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit. John Douglas, Brian Downey, Jim Hughes, and Bill Taylor all from the class of 1990 won the Annual Golf Tournament held at Mayapple Golf Club.

"I really don't think it could have gone any better," said Robin Fulton, the Law School's new director of Alumni Relations. "When an event starts with a great group of people and you add terrific fall weather, and breathtaking new facilities as a venue, you can't really go wrong."

The weekend wrapped up with the Alumni Dinner also at Lewis Katz Hall on Saturday night and a breakfast meeting of the Alumni Association on Sunday morning.
