Under Dutch law, each (domestic and international) student in a degree-granting program must pay a fee. Radboud and Penn State have agreed on a partial fee scholarship for Penn State students opting for the degree (this fee will not be incurred if the student does not seek a degree from Radboud, but simply completes the exchange semester in residence at Radboud). This fee is currently the equivalent of approximately 2,000.00 USD for our students under the agreement and due upon arrival of the student. Students will pay the fee in euro via bank transfer. Alternatively, they can open a Dutch bank account and make the payment within the first week of arrival.
Cost, Financial Aid
Penn State students will pay Penn State tuition for the fall semester that they are abroad. Radboud will not charge any fees except for the degree fee should students opt for the degree. Estimates of living costs for students spending a semester at Radboud are available here. Students should consult the Financial Aid Office approximately 6 months prior to departure to learn how financial aid policies may apply to your particular aid situation.
