Caroline Sheldon is assistant dean of graduate and international programs at Penn State Law. She developed and teaches U.S. Common Law Skills for foreign-trained lawyers. Prior to joining Penn State she was a corporate compliance attorney for Siemens Corporation, where she led, coordinated, and monitored internal compliance investigations worldwide, advised on legal issues and helped develop corporate compliance policy. From 2001-2007 she was the legal advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, where she provided legal analysis on all aspects of German, EU, and international law. She is admitted to practice law in Germany and in New York.
