Professor William Fox has been a practicing attorney and a professor of law for more than thirty-five years. A private practitioner in Washington, D.C., he concentrates on international business transactions with additional work in federal agency matters and veterans law. For fifteen years, he has been a member of the faculty (senior research fellow) of the Centre for Energy, Mineral & Petroleum Law & Policy, the University of Dundee, Scotland, where he teaches courses in international business law.
 
Professor Fox was a tenured professor on the faculty of the Columbus School of Law of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Professor Fox served as associate dean for academic affairs at Columbus School of Law and then as dean from 2003-2005. Professor Fox has been a senior lecturer on the Fulbright Program in Bandung, Indonesia, a senior associate member of Saint Antony's College, Oxford University, and a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics. He has lectured in more than thirty countries around the world. In 2009, he lectured in China at the University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, Ocean University in Qindao, and the Faculty of Law in Harbin.
 
Professor Fox is a member of the District of Columbia and New Mexico bars as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
