Professor Preston Green III is a scholar of education law. His research focuses on the legal issues surrounding school choice and educational access, and he has published three books and more than fifty articles and book chapters on educational law. He has a joint appointment with Penn State's College of Education, where he is the Harry L. Batschelet II Chair Professor of Educational Administration and the professor-in-charge of the educational leadership program.

Professor Green also supervises Penn State's joint degree program in law and education. Before joining Penn State, Dr. Green was a member of the faculty of the College of Education at the University of Massachusetts — Amherst.
