Gregory McNeal is a scholar of national security with a particular interest in institutions and challenges associated with global security. He is an associate professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law and has also served as assistant director of the Institute for Global Security, co-director of a transnational counterterrorism program at the Department of Justice, and an advisor to the chief prosecutor of the Department of Defense Office of Military Commissions. He is co-editor of the book Saddam On Trial: Understanding and Debating the Iraqi High Tribunal, which was selected as one of three finalists for L'Association Internationale de Droit Penal's Book of the Year Award. Open to the public, this event is co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society, Federalist Society, International Law Society, Military Law Caucus and Penn State Journal of Law & International Affairs. |
