Career Services for Alumni and Friends

As a graduate of Penn State Law, you may want to avail yourself of services that the Career Planning & Development Office provides. Graduates may register to review job listings posted directly by employers on our Career Portal. In addition, graduates may access an alumni job posting exchange network to view job postings by other law schools. Our list of Internet links connects graduates to many helpful online resources, including practice area specific sites, commercial job listings, and career planning information. New graduates seeking their first position are encouraged to set up an appointment to have a counselor review their résumé and to discuss job search strategy.

The Career Planning & Development Office also looks forward to working with graduates as employers and as part of our professional network. Members of the network are people whom students and graduates can reach out to for advice. As a Professional Network member, you can participate in our Mentor Program for First-Year Students, serve as a volunteer career resource, and/or post a career description online to assist students in learning about areas of the law or ways to use a J.D.

We look forward to working with you to maintain a strong Penn State Law network!
