| A study of the World Bank arbitration procedure that addresses the issue of sovereignty in resolving transborder commercial and investment disputes. ICSID was established in 1965 under the Washington Convention. It has become a key arbitration system with the proliferation of Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs), which give foreign investors the right to make claims against a host State. | |||
